The EMDC Podcast officially went live last month!
Hosted by Tim Cowley and EMDC Founder Steve Baughman, the EMDC podcast highlights the people, places, and possibilities behind the global EMDC community.
Season 1 dives into a brief history of the EMDC conference for newcomers, brings our community up to date on current online offerings, and includes interviews with specialists in filmmaking (eps 3-4 Feb 10 & 24), audio/radio (eps 5-6 Mar 10 & 24), websites (eps 7-8 Apr 7 & 21), orality & storytelling (eps 9-10 May 5 & 19), ethnoarts (eps 11-12 June 2 & 16), app development (eps 13-14 June 30 & July 14), scripture gadgets (eps 15-16 July 28 & Aug 11), culturally intelligent media (eps 17-18 Aug 25 & Sept 8) and scripture engagement (eps 19-20 Sept 22 & Oct 6).
Historically, EMDC has hosted annual conferences where followers of Jesus from across the globe gather together and interact about best practices for communicating the gospel across cultures. In 2020, EMDC expanded to begin offering online training.
